Perl Foundation calls for grant proposals

Newly elected Perl Foundation grant committee chair Alberto Simões has put out a call for grant proposals. The process goes like this: You propose a project you want to do, and how much TPF should pay you for it; you get the proposal approved; you do the project and TPF gives you money. What more could you want?

If you've ever had an itch you wanted to scratch with Perl, a module you wanted to write, or a site you wanted to create, but could never find the time, maybe some dollars from TPF can help give you the kick in the pants to go forward with it. I urge everyone to consider taking advantage of this key service of the Perl Foundation.
